February 2, 2008 - The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to Las Vegas with a card so big the Mandalay Bay Events Center could barely contain it. Former pro wrestling superstar Brock Lesnar made his UFC debut in an explosive battle against ex-heavyweight champion Frank Mir, and the interim UFC heavyweight title was on the line as Brazilian superstar ''Minotauro'' Nogueira looked to take down two-time champ Tim ''The Maine-iac'' Sylvia. Also featured were middleweight contender Nate Marquardt, lightweight up and comer Tyson Griffin and the return of ''The Big Dog'', Ricardo Almeida.
